We Become a New Creation… So We Live a New Life.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!

1 John 2:6
Whoever claims to live in him must walk like Jesus did.

To Remain Spiritually Alive You Must Be Devoted to:

Acts 2:42 "They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer."

(which are from Jesus)

John 8:31 To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teachings, you are really my disciples.

2 John 9 Anyone who runs ahead and does not continue in the teaching of Christ does not have God; whoever continues in the teaching has both the Father and the Son.

1 John 2:24 See that what you have heard from the beginning remains in you. If it does, you also will remain in the Son and in the Father.

James 4: 17 Anyone, then, who knows the good he aught to do and doesn't do it, sins.

Ephesians 4: 22 - 25 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off you old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23) to be made new in the attitude of your minds;    24) and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

1 Corinthians 10: 32- 11:2 Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God - 33) even as I try to please every body in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. 11:1) Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ. 2) I praise you for remembering me in everything and for holding to the teachings just as I passed them on to you.

(Being one with Christ and the Community of Believers)

Matthew 18:20 For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.

Ephesians 5:30 for we are members of his body.

Hebrews 10:24 -25 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. 25) Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another – and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Ephesians 4: 29 Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

Ephesians 4: 2- 3 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

1 Corinthians 12:12 The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and thought all its parts are many, they form one body.  So it is with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12: 18 But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as he wanted them to be.

1 Corinthians 12: 27 Now you are the body of Christ, and each one of you is a part of it.

( Breaking of Bread ~ Very important.)

John 6:53-58 So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in yourselves. 54 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.   55 "For My flesh is true food and My blood is true drink. 56 "He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. 57 "As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who eats Me, he also will live because of Me. 58 "This is the bread which came down out of heaven; not as the fathers ate and died; he who eats this bread will live forever.”

John 6:61-63 But Jesus, conscious that His disciples grumbled at this, said to them, "Does this cause you to stumble? 62 "What then if you see the Son of Man ascending to where He was before? 63 "It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh counts for nothing; the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life.

Acts 20:7 "Now on the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread..."1

I Corinthians 11:23-29 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "This is My body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of Me." 25 In the same way He took the cup also after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." 26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink the cup, you proclaim the Lord's death until He comes. 27 Therefore, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.  28 A man aught to examine himself before he eats of the bread and drinks of the cup. 29 For anyone who eats and drinks without recognizing the body of the Lord eats and drinks judgment on him-self.

Ephesians 6:18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

John 16:24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name.  Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

James 5: 16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.

Colossians 1:9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you,we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

1 Thessalonians 5: 16- 18 Be joyful always; 17) pray continually;  18) give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
